Year 2009: Barbara Reflects
As I reflect back over this past year I am amazed and grateful for the unfolding and growth here at High Mesa Healing Center. Seems the more I delegate and step back the more things just open up to be of service to the community. It is rather like being a parent and allowing you kids to grow up. Well, I am allowing HMHC to take her place of service and enjoying observing the process.
In September, Shiva's Mountain Meadow Massage School opened here in the yurt. The other classes and workshops continue to meet: Tai Chi, Pilates, Yoga, Attitudinal Healing Circle, Science of Mind, Open Circle, Peace Village, Sweat Lodges and other various groups. The leaders of these groups bring such richness to the Center and the community. Thanks to all of you, too: Linda, Jim, Vanessa, Nancy, Barbara, Pierre, Shiva, Sonnie, Memo, Kaylah, Susan, Willy and Kathy. There are two who work very closely with me mostly behind the scenes and they are the heart of HMHC. Nadette and Kate are keeping us all in balance and harmony. What a team we all are, thanks for being a part of this ongoing adventure.
All is in place at High Mesa for another great year in 2010, so stay tuned for more action and excitement.
